Consent-based messaging & calls

No connection. No messages. No calls.

Strangers can’t text you. Strangers can’t call you. People can reach you only after you approve the connection — and calls need a separate yes every time.

Phone-number sign-in • Having your number is never enough to reach you.

Haamly DCM is a consent-based phone and messaging app: connections unlock messages, while calls stay permission-based.

Not connected

  • Unknown numbers
  • Spam & robocalls
  • Cold outreach
  • Anyone you haven't approved

Can't message you. Can't call you.

connection approved

Connected

  • Family
  • Close friends
  • People you chose

Can message. Calls still need approval.

The problem

Your phone is open to the whole world.

Anyone who gets your number can text you and call you whenever they want. That means spam, robocalls, scams, and interruptions you never agreed to.

01

Anyone can text you

Once someone has your number, they can message you directly without your permission.

02

Anyone can call you

Your phone rings for strangers, robocalls, and spam at any hour. You answer first, decide later.

03

Blocking is reactive

You block numbers one by one, after they've already reached you. DCM flips the default before contact.

The core idea

Two layers of consent.

Being connected and being callable are two separate decisions. You control both.

Layer 1 — Connection

Can they message you at all?

No connection means no messages and no calls — nothing gets through. A connection has to be requested and mutually approved before anyone can reach you.

Layer 2 — Call

Can they call you right now?

Being connected lets someone message you — it does not mean they can ring your phone. Calls are a separate permission, and by default every call needs your approval.

How it works

Connection first. Calls on approval.

Reaching someone on DCM is a deliberate, two-step act — not the default.

  1. 01

    Request a connection

To reach someone, you send a connection request. Until it's accepted, you can't message or call them.

  2. 02

    Mutual approval

A connection only exists when both people agree. Either side can decline, and until approval, no messages or calls get through.

  3. 03

    Message freely

Once connected, you can message each other. Messaging is open between connected people.

  4. 04

    Calls need per-call approval

By default, every call asks for your approval before your phone rings. You decide call-by-call who gets through.

Call approval modes

You decide how calls reach you.

Set a mode per connection. Calls only ring through on your terms.

🔔

Ask every time

The default. Their call request appears first. Your phone only rings after you approve.

Always allow

A whitelist for the people you trust most. Their calls ring without asking each time.

Blocked

They can’t call you. You can keep messaging on, or disconnect completely.

Always in your control

Leave any time. No negotiation.

A connection lasts only as long as you both want it to.

Mutual disconnect

Either side can end a connection. When you disconnect, messaging and calling stop both ways — and they go back to not being able to reach you at all.

Block & report

If someone misbehaves, block them so they can never request you again, and report abuse so we can act. The decision is always yours, and it's instant.

Trust & privacy

Private by default.

Your phone belongs to you, and so does your attention.

Use your phone number to sign in and find people you know. Haamly does not expose your number publicly, and having your number is never enough to message or call you.

Connections are made through DCM, and you can disconnect a connection at any time.

Plain English: nobody reaches you unless you let them, calls always need their own yes, and you can change your mind at any time.

For businesses

Trust without bypassing consent.

Businesses can use Haamly like everyone else. Verified business profiles are coming for companies that want customers to know who is contacting them — without ever bypassing user approval.

Coming later

  • ✓ Verified business identity
  • ✓ Clear contact reasons before approval
  • ✓ Team inbox and customer call requests
  • ✓ No paid bypass of user consent

Close your phone to strangers.

Open it only to the people you choose — and let calls in one yes at a time.
